Accessing your email accounts using Microsoft's Outlook isn't a hard task. This article will take you step by step through the process of adding a new email account to Outlook. The steps involved here may or may not work with other mail clients. The settings should be the same but the steps won't be as they are here.
Before we start, be sure to have Outlook open on your computer.
Step 1 - First Step is to take your mouse to Tools - E-mail Accounts

Step 2 - You will then be presented with a box giving you several options. Select the radio button "Add a New Email Account" like shown in the graphic, and click Next.

Step 3 - You will then be prompted for your server type. Local World IT uses POP email, so you should select "POP3". If you wish to connect to another email account such as a Hotmail one, select "HTTP". Although you should probably give their home page a visit for proper instructions. Once you have selected POP3, Click Next.

Step 4 - You will now have to enter you account details such as Your Name (this appears in the "From" field of your e-mails), your email address, logon information such as username and password, and you mail server information. You should already know most of the information like your name and your email address and logon details. The mail server entries though are where your email is stored until you pick it up.
Enter these details:
Incoming Mail Server (POP3): mail.your domain.com.au
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.your domain.com.au
Note that you must substitute your domain name for it to work. For example, if you domain was trains.com, you server details would be:
Incoming Mail Server (POP3): mail.trains.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.trains.com
Once you have finished out entering your details, click Next.

Step 5 - You have now successfully entered all your required fields to use Outlook to check your mail. It is now time to check your mail. Click Finish.

Now click the Send/Receive button on the toolbar. If you are told of an error while performing its operations, review your settings for any error and try again. If you still cant get on then make sure your email is valid and active. If problems are still happening please don't hesitate in calling us for some assistance. We are always happy to help our customers get the most out of our services.
